The PIFA Street Fair brings an all-day block party to Broad Street on Saturday, featuring live street performances, interactive experiences, delicious street-fare food and carnival rides.
The Odunde Festival is the East Coast’s largest and the country’s longest, continuously running African-American street festival. It returns to Graduate Hospital on Sunday with exciting performances and food and crafts vendors as part of a celebration of the African diaspora.
The 30th annual PrideDay LGBT Pride Parade and Festival on Sunday begins with a parade from the heart of the Gayborhood to Penn’s Landing, where there’s live music, over 80 community groups and vendors and features comedian Margaret Cho as its headliner.
And one of Philly Beer Week’s premier events, Saturday’s Fishtown FestivAlestreet fest offers delicious brews and food from 70 vendors and 20 local restaurants, carnival games and a fireworks show at dusk over the Delaware River.
